Chiba Minato Big Catch Festival

Held every November at Chiba Port Park, this event lives up to its name, which means "big catch," with a huge serving of Chiba-produced gourmet food that is always a big hit. There are also hands-on events and stage performances, making it enjoyable for the whole family.

Makuhari Beach Fireworks Festa

A summer tradition in Chiba City. This is the largest fireworks show in Japan, featuring spectacular fireworks that can only be seen on Makuhari Beach, including 10cm diameter shells, and performed in harmony with music.

Chiba Minato Tanabata Festival

Held at Sanbashi Hiroba, a seaside park located near Chiba-Minato Station on the JR Keiyo Line and Chiba Urban Monorail. Freshly harvested vegetables and gourmet food from Chiba no Sato will be coming to Chiba-Minato!

Chiba Minato Sanbashi Festival

Chiba Minato Christmas Market

A collection of craft shops and food trucks will be gathered. The wooden deck at Sanbashi Hiroba (in front of K's Harbor) will be transformed into a magical space with Christmas illuminations at night.
