A guided tour to explore behind the scenes of Chiba City's local wholesale market, where fresh ingredients are gathered!
In the fisheries building, participants learn fish selection techniques from professionals, and then experience the "-45℃ world" in a freezer that is normally off-limits.
This is a rare opportunity to experience a world so cold that your eyelashes might freeze.
Furthermore, you can enjoy taking commemorative photos while riding in a forklift or a turret (a vehicle used for transporting goods within the plant).
This tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the market, including a tour of the produce building, which is usually off-limits to the public, allowing you to fully experience the vibrant atmosphere unique to a market.
Also, the tour dates (the second and fourth Saturdays of each month) are also Citizen Appreciation Days!
