Chiba Citizens' Gallery Inage / Chiba-related Artists Exhibition - Second Sub-City Center "Find the White Snake"
We will be holding an exhibition of works by Daini Fukutoshin, an artist with ties to Chiba City, titled "Find the White Snake."
Dai-ni Fukutoshin is an artist unit formed by Yota Tojo (1988-) and Satoshi Haruki (1988-). They work to weave new areas into everyday life while moving between urban and rural areas, and in this exhibition they will present a new project inspired by the "White Snake Legend" that remains in Inage. As the title "Find the White Snake" suggests, viewers will engage with the artwork while searching for the white snake in the venue, and will be encouraged to reconsider the presences lurking in everyday life and their hometown.
In addition, we will be exhibiting works from workshops with nearby junior high schools and projects from the Chiba International Art Festival 2025.
Why not reconsider your region through "living heritage," which involves re-examining places, landscapes, and objects related to the local memories that reside within us?
Even if you missed the exhibition at the art festival, please take this opportunity to visit.
