Chiba 900th Anniversary Special Exhibition "The Chiba Clan Returns - 900 Years of a Family Gathered in Chiba"
In conjunction with the Chiba Clan Summit in August, the Chiba City Local History Museum will be "returning home" to the museum some valuable materials held by the municipalities and other organizations that are members of the summit.
Through the rise and fall of the family as told in historical documents, and the traditions that still remain today, we will introduce how the Chiba clan spread beyond our city to the entire country, underwent diverse developments in various regions, and left a tremendous impact.
