<R1 Information> Ohga Lotus Festival @ Chiba Park <June 15th (Sat) - 23rd (Sun)>
The Oga Lotus Festival is held every year from mid- to late June, when the giant lotus flowers are in full bloom. At peak times, as many as 700 giant lotus flowers bloom all over the place.
There will be a wide variety of events this time, including the ever-popular elephant trunk cup experience (pouring alcohol or other beverages into a lotus leaf and drinking from the stem), various performances, sales, workshops, and more!

<<Experience the Elephant Trunk Cup>>
You will have the opportunity to try "zoubihai," a drinking experience where you pour alcohol, juice, or other drinks into a large lotus leaf and use the stem as a straw to drink from it.
●Location: Under the large wisteria trellis
●Time: 9:30 - Numbered tickets will be distributed (first 100 people)
*Every year, there is a line to get a numbered ticket. Please line up early.
<<Chihana's Walk>>
The characters will take a walk around Chiba City with Chihana-chan!
●Location: Around Renge-tei and Lotus Pond
<<Lectures and Musical Instrument Performances>>
On Saturdays and Sundays during the Ohga Lotus Festival, there will be lectures and musical performances by artists with ties to Chiba City. There will be a lot to see, including koto and Japanese drum performances, and talks about Ohga lotus flowers.

There will be different stalls selling things like takoyaki, yakisoba, and chocolate bananas every day.

Weekday Events
●Daily 500 yen course
Moss ball making, fruit receptacle crafts, herbariums, etc. (First 20 people each, 500 yen each)
