Chiba City Kasori Shell Mound Museum
Japan's largest Jomon ruins! A national treasure!
The Kasori Shell Mound, a special historic site, has a museum, an outdoor observation facility where you can see remains of dwellings and cross-sections of shell layers, a reconstructed settlement, and more, where you can learn about Jomon period culture and also holds hands-on courses and events.
