Volunteer tourist guide for foreigners

We want to introduce the charm of Chiba City to foreigners in a fun way through guided tours!
To share the various attractions of Chiba City with foreign visitors and residents, we offer guided tours in English and Chinese led by 73 certified volunteer tourist guides (as of April 1, 2022) known as "Chiba-City Guides," who have completed guide training courses. We'll guide you through popular model courses in the Chiba city center and Makuhari area! Even if you've lived in Chiba City for a long time, you might discover some hidden local charms you've never seen before.

The program aims to foster understanding and a sense of security for Ukrainian refugees through interactions with volunteer students and guides, allowing them to blend naturally into the local community.

The participant survey results showed a 100% satisfaction rate! Participants enjoyed experiencing Chiba City's culture and history.
